The brief was to reinterpret the Audi automotive mark as a hammered, distressed form, turning it into a wearable accessory. Beyond its appearance, the object needed articulated parts and a fit suited to the person wearing it on the runway.

First came the front and its distressed finish. After client approval, the hinges and temples were developed. The assembly was then adapted to a scan of the model’s face for the runway presentation.

Following approval of the front, developing an articulated hinge system to connect the temples and make the accessory usable.
Reviewing and adapting the design against a scan of the model’s face for the runway presentation. The scan data is not published.

An independent project for a student at Polimoda, Florence. Audi is mentioned as the brief’s visual inspiration, not as a commissioning client or affiliated brand. The collaboration is with the student, not an institutional partnership with Polimoda.
